This one began as a lump of clay. Katie, who founded St. Bingo in 2024, sculpted the swan by hand and worked through several prototypes before choosing this one. Artisans in Mexico cast it in plaster moulds taken from her original, then glaze each piece by hand.

It's modelled on the whooper swan, Finland's national bird. The neck curves down to its breast, the wing feathers are carved in, and it sits on a rope-twist collar above a flared pedestal. The taper fits into a socket in its back.

Hand glazing means the colour pools and thins a little differently on every piece.
