Wishy Fishies Sardine Cake Candles, Set of 8

Forty-five safety matches in a sardine-style tin with a pull-tab lid and a striker down the side. Yellow or orange, each with its own illustration. The tin outlasts the matches.

Soy wax poured into a sardine tin — peel the lid back and the fish are wax, over a hand-illustrated scene. Five scents, from citrus to oakmoss and leather. About 25 hours. The tin gets genuinely hot; keep it on a coaster.

A fish in glass, scales and all, holding one taper. Clear, blue or beige, 3 in across and 5 high. Spot clean only.
