A small American flag set well inside a deep navy ground — blue-and-white gingham check in the canton, soft red-and-cream stripes, printed with the slight wear of an old textile. A cottagecore read on the classic motif, quiet rather than loud.

Reproduced on premium canvas in an ornate gold-gilt wood frame with a carved scallop-and-leaf relief and an antiqued finish. Glass-free, with paper backing and hanging hardware included. Made in the United States.

Details

  • Material: Premium canvas, ornate gilt wood frame

  • Glass-free: lightweight, no glare
  • Hardware: Paper backing and hanging hardware included
  • Made in: USA
  • Care: Keep dry; wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth

George Washington hooked in wool on dusty blue — heavy brows, long nose, an expression between solemn and mildly alarmed. Folk-naive on purpose. The cherry sprig embroidered at the left is the cherry tree from the story, which a biographer made up after Washington died. Tim Campbell, who also drew the Lincoln. 18 x 18 in, insert included.

The 1874 design drawing for a plate, not a photo of one — a garden landscape ringed by a stylised leaf border, in blue-grey wash with the pencil lines still showing. Natural wood frame with a wide charcoal inner border and a thin gold lip. 8 x 8 or 15 x 15 in across the frame, so the drawing is a good deal smaller. Glass-free.

I didn't read the description closely enough; I thought the flag and dig were fabric.
