The Swan 1915 Framed Canvas Art

A pale horse with its head down, painted flat against solid slate blue — no landscape, one dark eye, nothing else. White wood frame. Two sizes, 7 x 9 and 11 x 15 in across the frame. Glass-free.

A small flag on a deep navy ground — gingham check in the canton, faded red-and-cream stripes — inside an ornate gilt frame with a carved scallop relief. 6 x 6 in across the frame, and the flag is about a fifth of that. Small on purpose. Glass-free.

The 1874 design drawing for a plate, not a photo of one — a garden landscape ringed by a stylised leaf border, in blue-grey wash with the pencil lines still showing. Natural wood frame with a wide charcoal inner border and a thin gold lip. 8 x 8 or 15 x 15 in across the frame, so the drawing is a good deal smaller. Glass-free.

Thomas Hill's Yosemite in autumn — rust and ochre along the riverbank, Bridalveil Fall a thin ribbon on the far cliff, and one small figure at the water's edge to show you how big the rest of it is. Wide weathered-wood frame, no mat. 7 x 5 or 16 x 12 in across the frame. Glass-free.

A pencil botanical study reproduced on framed canvas — olive paper, graphite branch, monogrammed HR in the corner. 11 x 15 in measured across the frame, so the image sits smaller. Glass-free, hardware included.

A print of western hats in a barnwood frame, 12 x 16 in, handcrafted in Hickory, North Carolina. Sawtooth hanger on the back.

Copenhagen carried the Duke of Wellington at Waterloo. This is the unfinished study — the horse fully painted, the rider still a faceless blank in uniform. Black frame with a ribbed gold inner lip. 5 x 7 or 12 x 16 in across the frame.
