A drum shade built from windowpane capiz, each shell cut and laid by hand into petals, the seams traced in brass. Lit from within, it turns the whole thing to a soft, pearled glow — the reason these have drifted in and out of coastal rooms since the 1970s.
Capiz comes from the windowpane oyster, gathered along the shallows of the Philippines. No two panels read quite the same.
