Abraham Lincoln Hook Pillow

Abraham Lincoln in the stovepipe hat, hooked loop by loop in wool — pink cheeks, red mouth, heavy-lidded eyes, the same folk-naive hand as the George Washington. Behind him a blue sky with cream clouds, olive hills, a small American flag on a pole at the left and a little house on the hill at the right. A whole scene rather than a portrait bust.

Designed by Tim Campbell, who also drew the Washington — they hang together as a pair.
