Vintage French Needlepoint "L'Enclos" | Margot de Paris Horses at the Paddock

Two horses at a rail fence under a big tree, a farmhouse behind them, the leaves already turning. This is a hand-stitched needlepoint worked on a 100% cotton printed canvas from Créations Margot de Paris — one of France's oldest tapestry-canvas houses — design no. 2500, titled L'Enclos ("the paddock"). Someone spent a winter on this.

It's still on its original wood stretcher bars with a wire hanger on the back, so it hangs as-is. The raw canvas edges show on the sides, "Made in France" printed along one of them; frame it if you'd rather.
